In conjunction with the start of the doctoral course, this center was established to facilitate effective joint-use of the research facilities by pooling separate budgets into one central location.
On May 21, 1987, it was certified as a facility approved under the ordinance of the Ministry of Education, and was renamed the Center for Research and Education.
(The center became the Facilities attached to the Graduate School of Medicine on April 1, 1999)
This research center has been actively used to provide technical support for the research and hands-on experiments of students. This goes beyond the original purpose of rationally operating the center by centrally managing the advanced research facilities and providing the forum of exchange among researchers from different faculties.
Through the education and growth of researchers, it serves as a center which contributes to the development of medical research. |
