With the purpose of becoming the frontier of sending out and exchanging intellectual information that contributes to the development of the regional community and the culture of the world, in April 2004, the Osaka University Nakanoshima Center was opened in Nakanoshima, Osaka city, the original site of the former School of Medicine.
The center, as Kaitokudo and Tekijuku of the Heisei-era, has become the third campus following the Suita and the Toyonaka campus, with advanced seminars for business people, and lectures for the full-time and full-time equivalent Graduate School. It has also become a venue for international cultural academic lectures, seminars and symposia.
Furthermore, the consultant room functions as a liaison of intellectual production: business-to-academia link between our school and the society. It has also grown as a main venue for public lectures. |
