The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery and Terumo Corporation have collaborated in the field of cardiovascular tissue regeneration, and have jointly conducted translational research from basic research to clinical application. We aim to bring together the cutting-edge technologies accumulated through previous joint research and development and realize the treatment of cardiovascular diseases with new modalities. Specifically, based on the knowledge, know-how, and fundamental technologies related to tissue regeneration and angiogenesis cultivated through joint research, we will promote the development of a new generation of diagnostic and therapeutic methods for various diseases related to unmet needs in the cardiovascular field.
