On March 12, it announced that Osaka University Takashi Nagasawa (Professor, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.med.osaka-u.ac.jp\/eng\/introduction\/research\/microbiology\/stem\">Stem Cell Biology<\/a>) has won the Japan Academy Prize for his work on how the bone marrow niche regulates hematopoietic stem cells and hematopoiesis and also bone. The ceremony will be held in Tokyo in June.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cI am very honoured to receive this award and have many people to thank. The teachers who trained me, the researchers who collaborated with me, and the people working hard in my lab.
