Masaki Mori and Yuichiro Doki), Tsunekuni et al.\u00a0demonstrated the\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">microRNA<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0profiles involved in\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">trifluridine (FTD)\u00a0resistance.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0FTD is a key component of the novel oral antitumor drug trifluridine\/tipiracil, which was approved for the treatment of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer refractory to standard chemotherapies. A comprehensive analysis of microRNA profiles was performed in colorectal cell lines resistant to FTD, in order to explore the underlying mechanisms of resistance to the drug.
