1. Clinical psychological studies of depressive disorders and anxiety disorders (panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, etc.).
2. A prospective etiological study of depressive disorders and anxiety disorders in large cohort including over 1,000 white-collar workers.
3. Clinical psychological studies of perceived rearing style, temperament, and defense mechanism in patients with personality disorders.
4. Clinical psychological studies of taijin-kyofu-sho and social phobia.
5. Cognitive-behavioral therapy.
