Penetrance and expressivity of diseases are different, based on the disease type. If there is a highly heritable disease, there is a high chance that both members of the identical twin pair will be affected. If the identical twins raised in different environment, it could affect the expressivity of disease by epigenetic effects. Accordingly, it might affect the expression of the disease in time as well (eg. the disease will be expressed in one twin but years later in the other one).<\/p>
