- Summary of this article：We analyzed 23 years of Danish health data to study tumor risks in diabetes patients. Overall, diabetes didn't strongly increase total tumor risk. However, when skin tumors were excluded, both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes showed a higher risk of developing tumors compared to non-diabetics. Specifically, Type 2 diabetes was linked to increased risks in organs like the liver. This highlights the importance of tailored health monitoring for people with diabetes.
