- Summary of this article：This article reviews 15 years of the Emergency Medicine Alliance (EMA), a Japanese nonprofit created to strengthen ER-style emergency medicine. Since 2009, EMA has built a nationwide network, offered education, published books and a journal, and supported research and advocacy. Its activities helped raise the visibility and professional identity of emergency physicians in Japan. Continued support will be important to sustain progress and address future challenges in emergency care.
