Independent clinical research being conducted in our department

Our department conducts independent clinical research using specimens and medical information provided by patients, with the aim of elucidating the causes of diseases and developing new diagnostic and treatment methods. We conduct only those studies that have been formally approved following rigorous review by the Clinical Research Ethics Review Committee of Osaka University Hospital regarding the scientific validity and ethical soundness of the research protocols.
Since this study uses information obtained during routine medical care, it will not place any additional burden on patients. Furthermore, personal information will be properly managed, and no specific individuals will be identified.
