We Held the First OPF Endo Event

On Friday, October 9, 2026, we held the “1st OPF Endo” at Congres Square Grand Green Osaka. This event was organized as a forum for academic exchange to share information and exchange views on the latest findings and treatment strategies in endoscopic hepatobiliary and pancreatic care.

During this program, general presentations were given on the current status of emergency ERCP during nighttime and on holidays, as well as on stenting strategies for malignant hilar bile duct strictures. In addition, we invited Professor Masayuki Kitano from the Second Department of Internal Medicine at Wakayama Prefectural University of Medicine Hospital to deliver a special lecture titled “Interventional EUS and Device Development.” The presentation covered a wide range of topics, from the current state of endoscopic treatments for the biliary and pancreatic tracts to the prospects for new therapeutic techniques and device development, providing highly valuable insights that will contribute to the future advancement of clinical practice and research.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the speakers and participants, as well as to all those who worked so hard to make this event possible.
We will continue to promote academic exchanges that contribute to the advancement of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of the liver and pancreas, as well as related research.
