In clinical practice, we provide endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of biliopancreatic diseases such as EUS and ERCP, and drug therapy for biliopancreatic cancer.
In my research, I am conducting clinical research on biliary and pancreatic diseases. In the pancreas, I am conducting research to clarify the relationship between pancreatic carcinogenesis and metabolic diseases (diabetes, obesity, etc.) from a clinical standpoint, which was my basic research theme as a graduate student. In the biliary tract, my research focuses on stenting of biliary tract cancer and preoperative lymph node diagnosis, which may affect the resectability of biliary tract cancer.
Advances in cholangiopancreatic endoscopy are constantly evolving. I am constantly working to improve my clinical practice so that I can be a little more technically proficient than I was yesterday.
