6th Cross Innovation Forum
The Osaka University Health/Medicine Cross Innovation Forum brings Osaka University together with companies and organizations who aim to take innovation in the health and medicine sectors outside of Kansai to the rest of the world.
The 6th meeting, titled, “The challenges and expectations of information technology in health care”, examined how AI, big data, and IoT will handle the large amounts of data being generated in health and medical care sectors.
The first half of the forum considered how to disseminate and use the increasingly personalized data coming out of the sectors. The second half gave attention to the security issues regarding the data. One solution that was discussed was the creation of an information bank.
