The Exploration of age-specific standard values of digital angiopoietin-1 and age-specific response to arm heating
We now have a new study underway to determine whether the angiopoietin-1 level in the fingertip decreases with age in healthy individuals. The results of the Comprehensive Survey of Living Conditions, 2022 recently published by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare confirmed that a large number of people aged 65 years or older complain of cold hands and feet. Therefore, we speculated that angiopoietin-1 expression in the fingers may be reduced in older people. In this study, we are comparing fingertip angiopoietin levels in healthy individuals aged in their 20s–30s, 40s–50s, and 60s–70s.
