Active Thermo-Therapy for Arthritis with stiffness Caused by rheumatoid Arthritis: ATTCA study
The severity of arthritis has been lessened with the advent of potent anti-rheumatic agents. However, many patients with rheumatoid arthritis still experience stiffness in their hands, especially in the mornings. We have recently completed a fifth study in which we investigated whether a low-temperature heating pad worn on the hands overnight can alleviate morning stiffness and are preparing a manuscript summarizing our results for publication.
