研究の内容

当研究室では、近赤外分光法(NIRS)、経頭蓋直流電気刺激(tDCS)、プレパルスインヒビション(PPI)、脳波(EEG)、脳磁図(MEG)等の神経生理学的手法と、認知行動科学的手法を用い、統合失調症、認知症、うつ病、てんかん等の精神神経疾患における認知や情動へのアプローチを進め、これらの疾患の病態生理解明と治療法開発の解明を主な研究テーマとしています。

以下に最近の研究結果の一部を紹介します。

1.近赤外分光法(NIRS)

統合失調症・うつ病・認知症の認知課題施行時のNIRSを用いた脳血流の変化について研究しています。現在統合失調症に関しては、遺伝子、脳機能・形態画像・認知機能・社会機能を統合したプロジェクトを国立精神・神経センター、本学放射線科、教室内の他の研究室と合同で進めています。統合失調症の遺伝子解析に関する研究は本学倫理委員会の承認を得ており、関連病院の皆様方にもご協力頂いています。

また、符号課題を施行中にNIRSを用いて、前頭葉の活動を調べました。7割以上の測定部位で酸素化ヘモグロビンの有意な増加が左側優位に見られました(図1)。

2.経頭蓋直流電気刺激(tDCS)

tDCSを用いた難治性うつ病、統合失調症患者の治療と、tDCSの作用機序の解明をめざす基礎的研究を行っています。

3.プレパルスインヒビション(PPI)

統合失調症患者のプレパルスインヒビション(PPI)を測定し、その病態解明を行っています。

4. 脳波(EEG)

てんかん患者の精神症状やうつ症状に関連した脳波異常の解析を行っています。

5.脳磁図(MEG)

アルツハイマー病(AD)や軽度認知障害(MCI)のMEG活動を解析し、健常高齢者(NC)との脳活動の差を描出しました(図2)。統合失調症の幻聴出現時の側頭葉周辺での神経活動をMEGで捉えました。幻聴を持つてんかん患者の脳内活動部位を推定し、統合失調症との病態の差異を検討しました。

6.統合失調症、自閉症・アスペルガー症候群の認知障害

簡易なパソコンを使用した認知課題を用いて、統合失調症と自閉症患者の情報処理の特徴を調べ、認知障害と臨床的特徴との関連について報告しました。

7. てんかん患者の心理的評価

当院泌尿器科と共同で、腎移植患者の心理的評価を行っています。

8.共同研究

金沢大学、関西医科大学、国立精神・神経センター、兵庫県立大学大学院応用情報科学研究科、スペイン・マドリッド工科大などの学外のほか、学内の産業科学研究所、医学部脳神経外科、放射線科、麻酔科などと活発に進んでいます。
