Molecular imaging device

We have been developing various molecular imaging devices in joint research with other universities.
In joint research with Nagoya University (Prof. Seiichi Yamamoto), we have developed an integrated PET / OMRI device using the Overhauser effect, and have succeeded in simultaneous imaging of free radicals and PET. 1) We have also succeeded in imaging of weak Cerenkov light emitted when charged particles pass through a substance using an ultra-sensitive camera. 2)
In a collaborative study with Waseda University (Prof. Jun Kataoka), 3D color radiation in vivo imaging has been successfully performed using a "palm-sized" Compton camera. 3)
