FBPA-PET clinical research

¹⁸F-FBPA PET has long been used clinically as a tool for pretreatment evaluation in boron neutron capture therapy, one of radiotherapy. ¹⁾
In recent years, FBPA has been shown to be an L-amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1) -specific PET probe that is highly expressed in many cancer cells, and is attracting attention as a cancer-specific imaging agent. ²⁾
Currently, we are conducting a study to compare FDG-PET with patients with head and neck cancer and breast tumor.
