修了要件と学位
本研究科の博士課程は、４年制の課程です。
修了には、本研究科博士課程に４年以上在学し、下記の授業科目について30単位以上（※）修得のうえ、かつ必要な研究指導を受け、博士学位論文の審査及び最終の試験に合格する必要があります。
（※生命医科学の社会実装プログラムを履修する学生は36単位、先導的量子ビーム応用卓越大学院プログラムを履修する学生は30.5単位）
修了者には、「博士（医学）」の学位が授与されます。
必修科目
- 授業科目Ａ（研究倫理及び安全を含む。）（10単位）
指導教授による研究指導科目。 - 授業科目Ｂ（10単位）
指導教授による研究指導科目。
※ 生命医科学の社会実装プログラムを履修する学生は、授業科目Bに代わり、プログラムが定める科目（8科目16単位）を履修。
※ 先導的量子ビーム応用卓越大学院プログラムを履修する学生は、授業科目Bに代わり、プログラムが定める科目（10.5単位）を履修。 - 特別セミナー（10単位）
指導教授による研究指導科目。
単位認定には他に、研究発表会および研究セミナーの出席が必要です。
履修した年度の2月中旬ごろまでに、指導教授へ各「 出席票兼発表内容要旨」を提出してください。
出席票は1～4年次に公聴した分、全てが有効です。なお、研究科に届け出て承認を受けた1年を超える留学・海外派遣をしたことにより、必要枚数の全てを揃えることが困難な場合、その期間に応じて必要枚数に一定の配慮をいたします。事前に教務係に相談の上、｢ 研究発表会及び研究セミナー欠席届｣を提出してください。
※国内の研究機関、病院等に派遣されている場合は該当しません。

2018年度以前入学者：研究発表会2枚 研究セミナー 3枚
特別セミナー単位認定時に、指導教員へ提出し、その後学生自身で保管し、
単位修得退学時または自身の研究発表会申込み時（在学生）に、上記枚数を
含め研究発表会8枚研究セミナー12枚をその他必要書類と併せて、教務係に
提出すること。
2019年度以降入学者：研究発表会8枚 研究セミナー12枚
特別セミナー単位認定時に、指導教員へ提出し、その後学生自身で保管し、
単位修得退学時または自身の研究発表会申込み時（在学生）に、上記枚数を

履修方法・単位認定及び指導指針
1年次：授業科目Ａ
2年次：授業科目B （生命医科学の社会実装プログラム履修学生、先導的量子ビーム応用卓越大学院プログラム履修学生は上記の通り。）
3年次：特別セミナー
また、各科目とも通年科目であり、休学した年次については単位が付与されないため、翌年に再度履修することになります。
履修登録
授業科目Ａ・授業科目Ｂ・特別セミナーは、教務係で一括して履修登録をします。
生命医科学の社会実装プログラム、先導的量子ビーム応用卓越大学院プログラム等、上記以外の授業科目を履修する場合は、各自でKOANに登録してください。
KOAN へのログインには、大阪大学個人IDが必要です。
他の大学院及び外国の大学院において履修した授業科目の単位認定
在学中に所定の手続きによって他の大学院及び外国の大学院に派遣され、その大学院で修得した単位については、当該学生からの申請に基づき、単位認定の可否を審議します。
なお、修了に必要な単位に充当する場合は、10単位を超えないものとします。

早期修了
医学系研究科では、本研究科の博士課程在学中に優れた学術論文を公表した者、その他、論文以外に極めて著しい研究業績のあった者等、優れた研究業績を上げた学生に対し、早期修了の制度を設けています。
早期修了の時期は、3年次の3月（在学期間3年）と4年次の9月及び3月（在学期間3年以上4年未満）となります。
その他
■大阪大学医学部附属病院における医員（週40時間勤務者）の学生の取り扱いについて
博士課程の学生が、大阪大学医学部附属病院の医員（週40時間勤務）として勤務する場合、勤務可能期間は原則1年間となります。ただし、当該学生が研究を遂行する上で、医員勤務の継続が必要と所属教室が認めた場合に限り、更に1年間の勤務ができるものとします。

Completion requirements and degree
The doctoral course is a four-year course.
To complete the course, the student needs to be in the doctoral program of this graduate school for 4 years or more, acquire 30 credits (*) or more in the following subjects, take necessary research lecture, and pass the judgement of the doctoral dissertation and the final examination.
(* 36 credits for the student of Transdisciplinary Program for Biomedical Entrepreneurship and Innovation, 30.5 credits for the student of Multidisciplinary PhD Program for Pioneering Quantum Beam Application )
Those who complete the course will be recieived the medical degree.
Required Subjects
- Subject A (including research ethics and safety): 10 credits
Research lecture subject by the supervisor. - Subject B: 10 credits
Research lecture subject by the supervisor.
* Students taking Transdisciplinary Program for Biomedical Entrepreneurship and Innovationwill take the courses specified by the program (8 courses, 16 credits) instead of the Subject B.
* Students taking Multidisciplinary PhD Program for Pioneering Quantum Beam Applicationwill take the courses (10.5 credits) specified by the program instead of Subject B. - Special Seminar: 10 credits
Research lecture subject by the supervisor.
In addition to credit recognition, attendance at PhD Thesis Presentations and Research Seminars is required.
Please submit each “ Attendance Sheet and Summary” of PhD Thesis Presentations and Research Seminars to your supervisor by mid-February of the year you took Special Seminar.
Attendance Sheets are all valid for the first to fourth years.In addition, if it is difficult to prepare all the required number of sheets due to study abroad or overseas dispatch for more than one year after notification to the graduate school and approval, we will give some consideration to the required number of sheets according to the period.
Please contact with the Educational Affairs Section in advance and submit the ” Request for absence from Thesis Presentation or Research Seminar“.

At the time of Special Seminar credit certification, submit them to your supervisor, and then keep them by yourself.
At the time of withdrawal from school or when applying for your own PhD Thesis Presentation (only current student), you need to submit 8 PhD Thesis Presentationss, and 12 Research Seminars including the above number to Educatinal Affairs Section together with other necessary documents.●Enrollment after 2019: 8 of PhD Thesis Presentations, and 12 of Research Seminars
At the time of Special Seminar credit certification, submit them to your supervisor, and then keep them by yourself.
At the time of withdrawal from school or when applying for your own PhD Thesis Presentation (only current student), the student need to submit the above number of the sheets to Educatinal Affairs Section together with other necessary documents.

■ Course method, Credit certification, and Guidelines
1st year: Subject A
2nd year: Subject B (except Students taking Transdisciplinary Program for Biomedical Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Multidisciplinary PhD Program for Pioneering Quantum Beam Application are as above)
3rd year: Special Seminar
Each subject is a year-round subject, and credits will not be obtained for the year of leave of absence, so you will have to take it again the following year.
■ Course registration
Subject A, Subject B, and Special Seminar are registered by Educational Affairs Section.
The subject for Transdisciplinary Program for Biomedical Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Multidisciplinary PhD Program for Pioneering Quantum Beam Application is also by registered a person in charge of the programs.
If you want to take courses/subjects other than the above, such as the advanced sub-program, etc., please register for your KOAN by yourself.

Osaka University Personal ID is required to log in to KOAN.
■ Credit recognition taken at other graduate schools or foreign graduate schools
If you are dispatched to another graduate school or a foreign graduate school by the prescribed procedure while you are in school, and the credits you have earned at that graduate school will be deliberated at Educational Affairs Comittee on whether or not to certify the credits based on the application from the student.
The credits required for completion, it shall not exceed 10 credits.

■ Early graduation
In our Graduate School of Medicine, we have an early graduation system.
It is for students who have made excellent research achievements, such as those who have published excellent academic papers while enrolled in the doctoral course of this graduate school, and those who have made extremely remarkable research achievements other than the papers.
Early graduation season are;
3 years of enrollment: In March of the 3rd year for April enrollee, or September of the 3rd year for October enrollee
3 years or more and less than 4 years of enrollment: September or March of the 4th year.

■ Handling of medical staff (to work 40 hours per a week) at Osaka University Hospital
If a doctoral student works as a doctor (to work 40 hours per a week) at Osaka University Hospital, the working period is basically one year.
However, the student may be able to work for another year only if the supervisor he/she belongs to recognizes that it is necessary for the student to continue working as a doctor in order to carry out the research.
