研究発表会および研究セミナーへの出席義務化について

平成14年度から、研究発表会および研究セミナーへの出席が義務化されました（通知： 研究発表会及び研究セミナー出席義務化について）。大学院学生が自分以外の研究に対しても目を向け周辺領域に対しても広い知識を得るきっかけを作るとともに、当大学院内で行われている研究についての理解を深めること、及び学生が研究発表、質疑応答に関する技術を学ぶ機会を作ることを目的としています。

出席の証明について

出席ごとに「研究発表会出席票兼発表内容要旨」または「研究セミナー出席票兼発表内容要旨」に発表内容要旨を記入し、出席の証明とします。

出席票兼発表内容要旨について

令和2年度より、コロナ感染対策によるオンライン開催が主流となったため、「司会者確認印」欄または「セミナー開催者出席確認印」欄への印またはサインは、学生所属の指導教授で良いものとなりました。

その後、必要事項記入のうえ、指導教授に提出し「指導教員印」をもらうことで完成します。
※要旨はワープロまたは手書きのものとします。（別紙にワープロ書きしたものを所定用紙の枠内に貼付しても構いません。）

研究発表会：発表者1名に対して1枚です。
研究セミナー：どのセミナーが「研究セミナー」となるかの判断、ならびに発表者1名に対して1枚とするか、1つのセミナーに対して1枚とするかの判断は指導教授にあります。

研究発表会の定義

本学医学系研究科(保健学を除く)で開催される学位申請のための研究発表会。
連携大学院に所属している方、学外機関に派遣されている方も必ず出席してください。1日に複数人の発表があるので、学外で研究していても8人の発表に出席するのは可能と考えております。

※ 研究発表会は、通常、月2回(第2水曜日、第4木曜日)行われます。

研究セミナーの定義

教室、研究室等が公開を目的として企画したもので、自分の指導教員の承認印を得ることが出来るもの。学内外で開催されたものを問わない。
連携大学院に所属している方、学外機関に派遣されている方も必ず出席してください。
冒頭の目的に沿っていれば、学外のセミナーも対象となります。

研究発表会出席票兼発表内容要旨記入上の注意事項

1. この用紙は博士論文ごと(発表者ごと)に作成してください。
2. 指導教員印は発表内容要旨を記入後、あなたが所属する教室の教授からもらってください。
3. 発表内容要旨はワープロまたは手書きのものとします。（別紙にワープロ書きしたものを所定用紙の枠内に貼付しても構いません。）

1. この用紙は研究セミナーごとに作成してください。
2. 指導教員印は発表内容要旨を記入後、あなたが所属する教室の教授からもらってください。

Compulsory Attendance at PhD Dissertation Defenses and Research Seminars

Since the fiscal year 2002, attendance at PhD dissertation defenses and research seminars has been made mandatory((Notification: Mandatory Attendance at PhD Dissertation Defenses and Research Seminars).
This initiative aims to provide graduate students with opportunities to broaden their knowledge beyond their own research fields, focusing on peripheral areas, deepen their understanding of research conducted within the graduate school, and provide opportunities for students to learn skills related to dissertation defenses and question-and-answer sessions.

Proof of Attendance

For each attendance, fill out the presentation summary in the “Attendance and Summary for Dissertation Defense” or “Attendance and Summary for Research Seminar,” which will serve as proof of attendance.

Regarding the “Attendance and Summary for Dissertation Defense (or Research Seminar)”

Since the fiscal year 2020, due to COVID-19 prevention measures, online hosting has become the mainstream. Therefore, for the “Moderator’s Seal or Signature” or “Seal or Signature of your professor” fields, a seal or signature from the student’s supervising professor is acceptable.

After completing the necessary details, submit the form to your supervising professor to obtain their seal or signature. The summary can be typed or handwritten (you may attach a typed summary to the designated form).

For Dissertation Defenses: One form per presenter.

For Research Seminars: The decision on which seminars qualify as “Research Seminars” and whether the summary can be counted per presenter or per seminar is at the discretion of the supervising professor.

Definition of Dissertation Defenses

Dissertation Defenses for degree applications held by the Graduate School of Medicine (excluding Division of Health Sciences) at this university. Those who are enrolled in the affiliate graduate schools or dispatched to external institutions must attend as well. Multiple defenses (presentations) are held on one day, so it is feasible to attend eight defenses even if you are conducting research externally.

※Dissertation defenses are usually held twice a month (on the 2^nd Wednesday and 4^th Thursday).

Definition of Research Seminars

Events organized by laboratories for the purpose of public presentation, where you can obtain the moderator’s seal or signature and the approval seal of your supervising professor. These can be held inside or outside the university. Those who are enrolled in the affiliate graduate schools or dispatched to external institutions must attend as well. Seminars held outside the university are also eligible if they align with the stated objectives.

Instructions for Completing the Attendance and Summary for Dissertation Defense

1. This form should be completed for each doctoral dissertation (per presenter).
2. After filling out the presentation summary, obtain the supervising professor’s seal or signature from the professor of your department.
3. The presentation summary can be typed or handwritten. (You may attach a typed summary to the designated form.)
